The Slimline Shufflers are a dynamic New Orleans-style rhythm’n‘blues band hailing from Bristol, UK, with virtuosic piano playing, searing harmonica, and inspiration drawn from iconic Crescent City musicians such as Professor Longhair, James Booker, Allen Toussaint and Dr. John. Comprised of Henry Slim on harmonica & vocals, Eric Arthur on piano, Adam Newton on upright bass, and Max Harrison on drums & vocals, the band have honed their unique style over the past 10 years, captivating audiences across the UK.
During the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2024 the band supported the Rebirth Brass Band and performed with a who’s who of New Orleans legendary musicians including members of Dirty Dozen Brass Band at Professor Longhair’s house.
Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut album “Suspicious Blues”, The Slimline Shufflers are currently recording an LP of all original songs due for release in early 2026.

“The Slimline Shufflers focus on different sides of the blues…think early Georgie Fame, with blues harmonica and a really kicking rhythm section.” – Blues in Britain
