See event details

A gig held at The Ill Repute on Saturday 15th June. The event starts at 20:00.

Heavy for the Tropics and Sound People present an unadulterated night of music and dancing at one of Bristol's finest fermental health institutions, The Ill Repute!

Bristol alternative outfit Heavy for the Tropics will be bringing their unique mix of indie noise and afrobeat infused psych to shake your bits to and exorcise those weekly demons in rapturous fashion over two very special sets.

Escalating the revelry will be local night and DJ duo Sound People; who will be hanging up the club beats to bring hot slices of psych, garage, and disco to really get that tail feather waggin' and make use of those tequila shots.

Heavy for the Tropics and Sound People are proud to put on this special night in benefit for Caring in Bristol; who work in imaginative and creative ways with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Caring in Bristol do amazing and incredibly important work. They are passionate and dedicated group working to create a society where everyone has a home, hope, and is a part of their community.

Entry requirements: 18+
