On Sunday July 26th, take a deep dive with us into the murky world of the New York criminal underworld, for SOMETHING OF THE NIGHT’s screening of King of New York.

Few directors have captured the essence of New York city as native Abel Ferrara has, and this film offers a thrilling neo-noir expression of the city in all its dark, dangerous decadence. 

Christopher Walken gives one of the performances of his career as Frank White, a drug lord recently released from prison who wants to seize control of the city’s criminal world; only with the uncharacteristic motive of wanting to redistribute the wealth to the poor. And he’s supported by a who’s who of great 1990s character actors, from Laurence Fishburne and Giancarlo Esposisto to Steve Buscemi and Wesley Snipes.
