PRAVANYA PILLAY
Pravanya Pillay is a stand up comedian, writer and producer. She’s based in Milton Keynes, which is 30 minutes into London by train. Pravanya delivers surreal, observational comedy from a unique perspective. She is like if Diana, Princess of Wales, did comedy.
As a writer she has written for BBC Radio Wales on the sitcom ‘Beena & Amrit’ and the sketch show ‘Welcome Strangers’. She’s worked with ethical clothing company Yes Friends to write and star in an advert for their sustainable denim campaign.
She is the co-host and producer of Party - a trans/non-binary/female comedy night described by LMAOnaise as “the country’s finest night” and featured in The Guardian.
She’s a 2022 Funny Women “One To Watch” and recently joint third in the 2022 So You Think You’re Funny competition.
