Temwa are excited to announce the next Undercover Cinema event will take place on the 21st April! The location is top secret, the film is top secret, but luckily we've persuaded Temwa's undercover agents to give you the theme, and this time we're asking you to put your dukes up!
The Undercover Cinema is about more than just the film, there'll be a whole host of surprises and entertainment along the way and we'll even drop a few clues here and there. The Cinema will have a well stocked bar and cinema snacks, including homemade cakes and our famous Temwa Toasties!
For the adult showing: we'll be meeting in the Broadmead area at 7:00pm to lick you into shape, following a rigorous coaching session we'll lead you to our secret venue, which is a short walking distance from central. Giving you plenty of time to get settled into your ringside seat, with a cheeky beverage or snack, you'll be primed for screening to commence at the 8.30pm slot.
In the afternoon there will be a children's PG matinee performance with games and refreshments for the children, and a cafe area for parents to wind down - with a bar! While the kids are away the parents will play, too!
Children's tickets are just £5 each. Adult tickets are £7 in advance or £10 on the door. January's event was a sell out, and tickets are limited, so get in early to guarantee your place.
100% of money raised from the event will go directly to funding sustainable community projects in Malawi. The price of your ticket will pay to run the community library for one day, the single link to the outside world for a community of 30,000 people. Just buying a coffee and a piece of cake will pay for one person to get tested for HIV!
