Women of Wax, a new all female all vinyl dance!
This night doesn't focus on one genre, or one time period, it focuses organic dance-floor heaters on wax only... Exploring but not limited to, Disco, Boogie, Jazz, Funk, Rare-Groove and much much more.
Kicking off this first instalment is:
Beavs is a DJ and SWU.fm radio host who brings a passionate energy & heat to the dance floor - taking dancers around the world on a warm, eclectic and soulful journey.
Whitts is a vinyl digger and loves the likes of funk, soul, disco and groove. Having played all over Bristol and the wider festival scene, she looks for records in the basement of Bristols best record shop, Wanted Records.
Shotbytia is a selector, photographer and Noods radio family member who built her reputation shooting for Bristols best DJs and events. Since then she has played We Out Here, Outlook and much more.
Kat CW is a founder of Brakery and Analogue Lounge, a selector who has played all over Bristols grassroots community as well as festivals such as Glastonbury, We Out Here, Love supreme and more.
