People of Bristol! Get ready for the return of Scotland’s incredibly immersive club night Samedia Shebeen, for the second time shaking the floor and the rafters of the mighty Jam Jar. Expect an exciting venue transformation accompanied by the largest of vibes from one of the UKs most on the button tropical crews.
The Samedia Shebeen started life in 2010 as an idea for a touring festival tent, transporting late-night party people to an imaginary jungle voodoo den come lost township shebeen.
With full, immersive set design and décor, and a soundtrack spanning old and new sounds of Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Middle East and beyond, it has proven a big hit with people at clubs and festivals. Samedia has toured festivals across the UK, around Europe and even built a stage on the banks of the River Nile for Nyege Nyege Festival Uganda. They can be regularly found providing the tropical flavours at Boomtown, Knockengorroch and Kelburn Garden Party.
