To celebrate his long-awaited album release, jazz-pop aficionado Ben Cipolla will be headlining the Jam Jar with his four-piece band, string quartet and special guests. Expect skilful, surf-guitar runs, shuffling beats and mellow bass grooves alongside a spine-tingling string quartet...this line-up will effortlessly float around Cipolla’s soul-soothing voice.

Having built a reputation for himself as 'one to watch' on the UK Jazz scene, Ben Cipolla’s music has been aired on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 and has seen him play support for a number of well-respected names including Edgelarks and Ninebarrow. Cipolla has also performed at the BBC Swing Jazz Prom at the Royal Albert Hall with Clare Teal, appeared on lineups alongside artists like Gregory Porter at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, as well as gracing the stage at Manchester Jazz Festival, WOMAD and Shambala Festival.

Born and raised in Wiltshire and now living in Bristol, Cipolla’s new album ‘Casa Mia’ is about exploring a deeper connection with his Sicilian heritage, as well as capturing his own Sicilian experiences from recently visiting the island.

Cipolla always creates an uplifting and effortlessly joyous feel when performing and has proven to be a master of writing catchy songs, especially with his comeback single ‘Enna’. It will be an unforgettable night full of hand-claps, toe-taps and sun-dappled songs. The line-up will be oozing with tremendous musicality from the get-go, with two support acts yet to be announced.
