An immersive, tropical music night inspired by South American new cumbia parties, where global bass mixed with live visuals and futuristic tropical décor create a unique experience for lovers of Latin American, African or Caribbean bass music!

During the first lockdown in 2020 we hosted the first online parties in Bristol, bringing people together through a very difficult time and supporting community and resilience! After a very long break we are slowly returning to create safe spaces for anyone labeled "minority" in these toxic times...

Midnight Ritual is a haven, it is a liminal space where we celebrate the magic that brings us together, where we are all one... drawing from a Latin approach to finding joy through music, dance and community, regardless of the context, we celebrate LOVE in all its forms and we warmly invite you to fall in love with all things tropical and BASS.

For this February edition we are inviting Mango Park, an old friend from the original parties at the Old Market Assembly, he is now very well known as part of Baile LND! Also from the big smoke comes Just P, a great DJ making waves in the tropical scene, and from Bristol Fly Fox from Femmes on Decks and myself, Panther Panther! as host. It will be awesome!

This is a gentle awakening, stretching our sleepy limbs, ready for the dance floor... come show your love and spread the word! Midnight Ritual is returning... suavemente!
