"Sell out warning! All-live, all-hardware acid connoisseur Ceephax takes you from bubblers to belters like no other. This is the weirdo rave music the Jam Jar has been missing and essential sweating for fans of DMX Krew, Legowelt, Scotch Egg and every 303 line imaginable."

A
clubnight
held at The Jam Jar
on Friday 27th January. The event starts at 21:00.
Join us for the debut outing of Klüb Blancmange! Think obscure vintage pudding meets the spiciest alternative electronic music.
CEEPHAX ACID CREW (90 Minutes)
A legend of the UK Acid scene, Ceephax Acid Crew (AKA Andy Jenkinson) has been consistently producing sonic weapons since the late 90's with releases on labels such as Warp, Rephlex, Planet Mu, Breakin' Records & more. His notorious live shows feature more analogue kit and chunky kick drums than you could shake a stick at: expect a sonic odyssey through the mind of your old gameboy colour. In a word: ACIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID!

Blancmange DJs
Klüb Blancmange is here to host the niche dance music you love so dearly. We want a space without boundaries, where people can be and express themselves freely. This space is inclusive, it’s energetic, it’s smiling at strangers, it’s losing yourself to the music & your surroundings. We are Blancmange positive, body positive, people positive dance enthusiasts. Come get lost with us and find something better.
We will be donating a percentage of profits to Rave Aid Crew, a new grassroots activist collective providing welfare services to the UK free party scene. They perform first aid, distribute free water & hot drinks and provide expert harm reduction advice at illegal raves. This money will go towards basic kit like folding tables, gazebos, self heating urns, petrol and more in order to get these guys ready for outdoor parties in the spring.
It’s not often you get to dance like this at the Jam Jar so make to get yourself down for the first of these special events (next one is in March).
This venue is a safe space for all & any discriminatory or ill spirited behaviour will not be tolerated. This night is explicitly kink and queer friendly. If you are doing dry January don't worry, we have you covered with one of the best ranges of non-alcoholic drinks in town. Please look out for those around you & have a great time!
