Indira Román is one of the best female Latin artists in the U.K. Cuban singer, songwriter and performer, Indira Román’s soaring powerhouse vocals creates an absolutely explosive and irresistible experience, providing representation for Bristol Latin music like no other.

Backed by her band of expert musicians Ají Pa’Ti showcasing the pinnacle of Latin live music.

Indira has performed at Glastonbury Festival several times as well as venues in the UK, such as, Ronnie Scoots, St Georges Bristol, Colston Hall, Bristol Jazz and Blues Festival, and many more. She has also performed her music around Cuba, Colombia and the Caribbean islands.

Her band Ají Pa’Ti was founded together with her husband, Colombian songwriter Julián Segura. Their unique sound mixing styles of Cuba, Colombia and The U.K and the soaring and powerful voice of Indira produce this explosive music. Fresh and hot, sweet and spicy Indira Roman & Ají Pa’Ti means “Chilli for you”.

It’s a stomping live set, of insistent riffs, pure groove and tropical melodies. Indira Román, summons up spirits of amor, coaxing people in, then whipping the crowd into a climatic sway of lovers rock.

DJ Dominique

DJ Dominique started spinning Latin grooves at Hoxton’s legendary Bass Clef Club in 1985 going on to host and DJ nights all over London from Camden Town to Soho where she promoted Rumba Pa’Ti at Shaftesbury Avenue’s Bar Rumba for 16 years!! As well as club DJing, Dominique has broadcasted on Capital Radio, Kiss FM and will be appearing on Voices Radio on Sunday 12 November 7-8pm. She has produced compilations for Charly Records, co-hosted the Latin Rave Sound System at Notting Hill Carnival and also works as an event producer and programme curator.

Originally Bristolian, Dominique has one of the best salsa vinyl collections in the UK.
