10 years of home-made, high energy, tropical beats! Come help the Hippo celebrate with a journey through all of his favourite styles including Reggae, Hip Hop, Jazz, Afrobeat, Samba, Latin grooves, Dancehall, Jungle, Tropical D&B, Global Bass & beyond!

Over his 10 years of releasing music he has garnered praise from icons such as Sir David Rodigan, Don Letts, Craig Charles & Jeremiah Asiamiah who've played his tracks on BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 6.

He also leads hybrid live/electronic group Hippo Sound System who fuse afro-latin grooves with sound system culture, and events brand Tropical Tea Party who're much loved for their immersive decor and exciting artists programmed by the hippo!

His positive energy is infectious and he has a rock solid reputation for bringing the warm, wholesome festival vibes! Aswell as his fantastic DJ sets Fizzy is one of the hardest working men in the roots music scene in the UK, as he leads the promotions at Hootannanny Brixton and is also a core member of the Boomtown team... he works tirelessly to promote good vibes!
