SLIPPIN’ - SATL, SL8R, EPHYRA, CHAMBA

Yes yes! Our sixth and final Slippin’ DNB night and our only Autumn date so we’re keen to make this our best one yet. We like to present the old and the new and we can’t book heritage names each time as the DnB landscape is full of superb emerging but also hugely experienced artists that will kill it at our events... so if you don’t know time to get to know!

Presenting: SATL // EPHYRA // SL8R

A heavyweight lineup featuring contemporary Liquid (and rollers) from two of our favourite operators in that side of the sound plus a set from possibly the most exciting emerging producer of the moment in the more upfront DnB / Jungle underground club world.

SATL:

Poland’s Satl is one of the leading figures in a new generation of Drum & Bass producers who has now been making waves for over a decade! His tracks ofen combine hazy cosmic soul, melancholic melodies, and heavyweight rolling drums into something unmistakably his!
A new recent direction with heavier deep minimal rollers with a dark soulful twist put out on Gemini Gemini show another side to his repertoire alongside that classic North Quarter style!

SL8R:

Manchester based Sl8r has built up a strong back-catalogue of releases over the past few years on labels such V Recordings, Hospital Records, Shogun Audio, 31 Recordings, Dread Recordings to name a few. His diverse productions have received support from some of the biggest names iDrum&Bass such as Goldie, Bryan Gee, Doc Scott, Fabio, Lenzman, and more. His high energy DJ sets have seen him booked across the UK and abroad, playing clubs such as Fabric, Steel Yard, Studio 338, Hidden MCR and playing at Planet V, Hospitality and Hit & Run nights. SL8R has a killer E.P coming up on our previous guests DJ Flights label in late Sept. One of the tracks of the year for sure!

EPYRA:

We’re over the moon to welcome Ephyra back to a Slippin’ night. Ephyra has started to play all over Europe for good reason, and was recently invited to play The North Quarter event at Phonox. A killer DJ and producer who always comes with fresh upfront dubs, Ephyra rolls out sets of smooth, deep, sometimes tough and often ephereal modern underground Liquid for the club and DnB fans who move with the times.

CHAMBA:

Slippin; resident and promoter Chamba will set the tone for the first hour before we hand over to our special guests!

VISUALS:

Visuals on the night as always, from the talented Boomtown Bobbies and Sawmills resident IN2U.
