corto.alto - SOLD OUT

corto.alto - SOLD OUT at Jam Jar

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Saturday 11th December. The event starts at 19:30.

Finally we can bring corto.alto to Bristol!

Hitting the road for their first UK tour off the back of their first proper studio release, this will see Liam Shortall and his cast of incredible musician mates finally play Bristol. We can't think of a better, more intimate Bristolian venue than the Jam Jar for this one!

Us worms have been excited about what Liam and gang have been creating since the moment we stumbled upon their videos back in 2019. That was near the start of the project - that project being a task that Liam Shortall (aka the mastermind behind the corto.alto project) had set himself to write and release a brand new track every three weeks for a year! Each track was filmed and recorded live from his bedroom above a KFC on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, using a revolving cast of insanely talented musician friends, smashing out the tunes with huge energy, big smiles and some great camera work. The room was genuinely tiny!

We flew up to Glasgow to meet them and to discuss working on something to release on Worm Discs...the first EP we released with them "435", has since sold out, but keep your eyes peeled for exciting new release information coming VERY SOON!

Honestly, corto.alto are one of our favourite new bands anywhere. Their set at 'We Out Here' was one of the best of the weekend and here they will be finally hitting Bristol!

Expect the insane!
