Bal Folk Brunch - NOW AT THE CLOAK & DAGGER at The Jam Jar
Entry by donation

A event held at The Jam Jar on Saturday 29th October. The event starts at 11:00.

CHANGE OF VENUE: We'll now be at the Cloak & Dagger, 182-184 Cheltenham Rd.
Sending good vibes to the Jam Jar - we'll be back there in November.

An informal, indoor gathering with European folk music and social dancing.
We're very excited to be hosting two wonderful bands:
- Shivelight Duo
- Helena Torpy & Steve Turner
Plus a beginner-friendly dance workshop.

This is not a ticketed event. We will be collecting donations on the day to cover venue & PA costs (£200). Profits will be shared between the musicians, dance teachers, and Balfolk Bristol. Please donate what you feel and what you can afford. We can accept donations via cash or PayPal.

Children are very welcome, and are the responsibility of their parents.

Accessibility: the venue is down a flight of stairs. There's level access via a door at the rear of the building - please alert us or the venue staff when you arrive and we can direct you.

Transport:
There is limited free parking available on surrounding side streets.
The nearest car park is a 15 minute walk away: NCP Car Park Bristol St James Barton, BS1 3LJ
There are plenty of buses that stop nearby on Cheltenham Road, and Montpelier station is a 5 minute walk away.
