Back once again with more rare records from around the world. This months special guest is Matteo Fava aka Lava On Wax from Amsterdam!

Lava On Wax is a musical project by the Dj/Selector Matteo Fava. While living in Amsterdam Matteo starts to explore the vintage sounds from Africa, Caribbean, Latin America, as well as Soul & Funk music from all over the world. He has been travelling for many years, digging in The Caribbean and In The Netherlands, and managed to build a great collection focused on Calypso, Soca, Afrobeat, Latin, Reggae, Soul and Disco. Since 2024 Lava On Wax is also a record label, started by the cooperation with former WIRL records in Barbados, aiming at repressing old obscure recordings from The Caribbean, as well as producing new artists.

And of course, we have… the formidable La Bomba DJs!
Veteran Bristol DJ John Stapleton and Boom Operator teamed up just before the pandemic, bonded by their love of obscure records from around the globe. Their (strictly original vinyl) monthly Bristol session, La Bomba, is now regarded as one of Europe's premier nights for original funky vinyl and has hosted many of the world's top diggers and DJs...
