EMILE OMAR
DJ and label owner, Emile Omar shares Afro-Caribbean grooves & beyond across the globe.
A longtime programmer at the legendary Radio Nova in Paris for over 15 years, Emile Omar continues his journey between his band Roseaux, his label Fanon Records, the web radio MILO, and his work as a DJ.

A true pioneer, he has introduced audiences to Afro-Caribbean treasures through his iconic compilations (Debs International on Strut, Antilles Chéries on Fanon Records) and his unique vinyl collection. Kompa, Zouk, Soukous, Semba… Emile Omar has become a key reference in these genres.

For more than 15 years, his Tropical Discoteq nights have brought together dancers and music lovers in Paris and beyond. At the same time, he releases concept albums and reissues on his Fanon Records label, reviving artists like Georges Brassens and celebrating landmark albums such as Teta Lando’s Angolan debut, Independencia.

A collector, curious, and attentive to collaborations, Emile Omar continuously multiplies projects and partnerships. His musical selections, both in clubs and on record, build bridges across eras and styles.

ANDERS
Franco-Norwegian Anders has been a DJ since his teenagehood, he is the co-founder of the legendary web radio Le Mellotron, established in 2009. He collects sounds from the 50s to the present day without any limits of genre or style with an addiction to jazz and exotic sounds. Every week since 2016, he has been running the Parisian show on Worldwide FM, Gilles Peterson's radio project. He regularly shares the decks with numerous French and international DJs at festivals all over the world.

As an entrepreneur, in 2021 he launched, in South Paris, the Maison Sumac concept store dedicated to delicatessens, wine and music. Anders also joined Radio France in 2022 as part of the FIP programmers team where he's hosting a jazz radio show every month.

Since the same year of 2022 he's the co-founder and programmer of Sam Sam Festival, nestled between Samoureau and Samois-sur-Seine, just to the south of Paris.
