Jay Terrestrial & The Firepit Collective + Support at The Jam Jar

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Sunday 1st February. The event starts at 19:15.

Returning to The Jam Jar for the first time in many moons, The Firepit Collective need no introduction. Known for their foot stomping, blood boiling take on folk traditions, these guys are not to be missed.

This time round the Firepit Collective are:
- Jay Terrestrial, frontman of one of the most authentic punk outfits about, manning the Guitar & lead vocals.
- Chezney Newman, the man with a million fingers, wielding his Bazouki & Banjo + backing vox.

Babar Luck's World Citizen Folk Band:

Upon splitting from King Prawn in Babar Luck formed his World Citizen Folk band in 2008 a continued attempt to sing and deliver his message of love, strength and unity to the world.

Their acoustic and contemplative folk music played on guitar, violin and cajón is sometimes dubbed ‘Sci-fi Folk’ , softer and more soothing than Babar Luck’s other acts, Yet Babar Luck’s lyrical content remains the same as ever

Imbolc:

Whilst the long nights may conjure up memories of cold winter days, Imbolc heralds the return of Spring, we are now as close to Spring equinox as Winter Solstice. Join us in celebration of the awesome power of the seasons, let us revel in some Anarcho-Folk action & dance til the room is hot!

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
