Idrissa Camara
Originally from Guinea Conakry, Idrissa trained from childhood with the renowned Ballet Bassikolo du Guinee. Since moving to the UK, he founded Ballet Nimba, a vibrant dance theatre company, performing nationally and internationally.
Idrissa invites you to join him for a thrilling and uplifting dance experience with live drumming, inspired by the traditional movement and dance of his home country.

Don’t miss this fabulous opportunity to dance with the master.

Ansoumana 'Vieux' Bakayoko
Recognised amongst his peers as an accomplished Djembefola, Ansoumana 'Vieux' Bakayoko has performed and directed numerous West African Ballet Troupes as well as teaching and performing worldwide. Of mixed Malian and Guinean heritage, he travelled across the Mandeng lands of Mali, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast and Senegal learning from the great drum masters of the age.

He teaches traditional Mandingue/Malinke rhythms & his Djembe workshop will take you to the heart of this ancient tradition. His teaching & playing style is dynamic and great fun, whilst at the same time encourages deeper understanding of the elements which make up the distinct repetoire of the Malinke musical traditions.
