- My Octopus Mind 'Trying To Be Normal' Album Launch -

Since their conception in 2017, My Octopus Mind have developed a wild form of experimental rock using balkan rhythms mixed with heavy psychedelic post-punk, wonky riffs and moments of haunting grace. A sound that truly can only be described as their own.

2019 saw the release of their spectacular debut album Maladyne Cave and two European tours, swiftly followed up by 2020’s Faulty At Source, championed by the likes of Prog, RTE, Loudwire, Louder than War, BBC Introducing and Noods Radio. Post pandemic they have toured Europe and the UK, garnering support slots with The Guru Guru, Pianos Become the Teeth, Cassels amongst many others.

Now, they are set on releasing their best body of work yet, their third album 'Trying To Be Normal', to be released on 3rd November via Drongo Records. We are privileged to be hosting the album launch for this incredible album on 5th November at The Jam Jar, and for a band that we've had the joy of putting on various fun shows over the past couple of years.
