N’famady Kouyate
N’famady Kouyate is a young master musician from Guinea, West Africa now based in Wales. Malinké in origin and born into a griot/djeli family. The griot are an African hereditary tradition where djeli have responsibility for preserving traditional Mandingue culture through the sharing of ancient rhythms, songs, and stories. As an infant N’famady was taught to play balafon (a traditional natural wooden xylophone) and went on to djembe and drumming in the ballet groups of Conakry (Guinea’s capital). Descended from a long line of djeli, N’famady is a master balafonist, singer, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist who gives his own modern twist to ancient traditions.

Ben Cipolla
Blending elements of Jazz, Soul and Indie-Pop, Ben Cipolla captures a unique vibrant yet chilled sound. Having experienced a number of successes including plays on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 as well as features across tastemaker press, the Bristol-based artist is now back with the bopping new single ‘Golden Hour’.
Blending mellow guitar lines, shuffling beats, and warming bass, ‘Golden Hour’ quickly creates an uplifting, laid-back and effortlessly joyous feel under Cipolla’s delicate vocal delivery. Mellow and sun-kissed, the track captures a sense of serenity, positivity and freedom whilst retaining a musical complexity and depth.
