Worm Gigs are proud to present a Weds night where it will be the rule to dance!

Touring the UK playing brand new tracks from their forthcoming album 'Back & Forth' - which is due on Tru Thoughts at the end of May, Nikitch & Kuna Maze are two friends from Grenoble and Brussels who have been going back and forth developing their sound and productions for a number of years now.

This new album, is in our eyes, one of the best feel-good dancefloor jazz inflicted electronic albums you are gonna hear anywhere this year. It's stuffed with fresh tracks that are rooted in House, Broken Beat and Hiphop in structure and heavily garnished with synths, flute, groovy baselines and chords that should soundtrack summer 2022.

Part of the new wave of musicians, producers and DJs who are heavily influenced by the melting point of jazz and club culture – Nikitch x Kuna Maze draw parallels to UK counterparts such as Neue Grafik, Nubya Garcia, Joe Armon-Jones, and fellow broken beat revivalist Kamaal Williams aka HenryWu.

The trio is comprised of Drums, Bass, Sythns & FX and Jazz Flute. Yeahhh! They are totally killer! Check out the videos..

In support on the night we have asked a Bristol don and label owner of 'Boogie Cafe' records, Alex Dinham, along to play and mix a selection of Broken Beat and four to the floor funk-i-fied beats to get the room wriggling into a loose feel good state ready for the main act.

Alex is a DJ of more years experience than some of you reading this may have been alive(!), and knows how to mix and select wicked tunes for days. He recently started a new night centred around Broken Beat sounds called 'A Movement' which is proper, and his label Boogie Cafe have been putting out quality dance music riddims for a bit now!

On the night we're gonna turn the lights down low, get the visuals and smoke machine on and get down! Hope you can join us!
