Satellite of Love are proud to present Clive Oseman's 'What if They Laugh at Me?'
“What if they laugh at me?” is a one man comedy spoken word show written and performed by Clive Oseman. It tells the story of one person’s battle to overcome severe shyness, and lack of self esteem, to achieve a burning ambition to entertain and bring laughter to audiences.
Told in a unique, sometimes serious but often hilarious manner highlighting the early battles with inner turmoil through to the sheer joy of seeing dreams come true. But is the battle ever really won?
Supported by short sets from Bristol’s own Agata Palmer and Clive’s Oooh Beehive co host Nick Lovell, the event brings a blend of poetry, spoken word and comedy sure to contain something for everyone.
Clive Oseman is a spoken word artist, comedian, satirist and promoter from Birmingham, currently based in Swindon. He is a multi slam winner, regular headline act in the UK, and internationally via Zoom, and is scheduled to fly to New York City in September to perform at the NYC festival of poetry on Governor’s Island.
