"Sweeping numbers of love and pain, and all things in-between - Grey's offerings are reliably powerful, and relentlessly honest, a riddle of sonic textures to complete the design." - JFLE

Following the release of Sylvie Grey's debut double-track single 'Odes & Shadows', Grey invites us aboard one of Bristol's best kept secrets for a night of intimate performances. The John Sebastian Lightship is a faded lighthouse boat hidden away in Bristols city centre; follow its beacon of light to descend into the vessel where the old wooden theatre will be set for a candlelit evening of aching serenades.

Influenced by artist such as beth gibbons, vashti bunion, joanna newsom, julie london, aldous harding, jessica pratt & sharon van etten, Grey's music is ethereal yet uneasy, bold yet nostalgic & utterly timeless. Joined by performances from the wonderful Lou Moon & Ruby Geddes.

LOU MOON

Grounded in earthy, indie-folk soundscapes, Lou Moon creates a mix of angsty and meditative tracks that explore relationships, mental health and queerness through metaphor, stark imagery and earnest lyrics.

RUBY GEDDES

Ruby's music is both other-worldly and distinctly grounded in the earth. Lyrically akin to mycelium; almost mythological whilst woven throughout the raw dirt. As a listener, you are invited into a liminal space where you feel at once enamoured with the ephemeral nature of existence and held in a cocoon of moss and soil.
