on Thursday 15th January. The event starts at 18:00.
Join Bristol-based writer Debs Torr for a warm, beginner-friendly creative writing workshop.
Maybe you haven’t written in a long time, or maybe you’re feeling stuck in your current writing practice. Through a series of guided prompts and playful exercises, we’ll look at how to overcome writer’s block and get into the creative flow. Over the course of 90 minutes we’ll uncover new ideas that you can take away and build on. No prior writing experience needed.
This event will raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), a charity that provides immediate medical aid and longer-term healthcare support to Palestinians living in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and refugee camps in Lebanon.
About the facilitator:
Debs Torr (she/her) is a published short story writer currently working on her debut novel with funding from Arts Council England. She runs creative writing workshops in Bristol and the South West. (www.instagram.com/debstorr)
