A
gig
on Friday 19th June. The event starts at 20:00.
To celebrate the summer solstice and a year and a half of existence The Fantasy Orchestra invite you to their Summer (fancy dress) Ball.
The venue, Kings Weston House (which was never used by Charles the 2nd in his escape from Cromwell in 1678 though he passed nearby) is a fancy old Georgian mansion overlooking the Severn estuary. So please come dressed ready for the libertine restoration which was soon to follow said flight. Pre-victorian Jane Austen period-drama attire would be perfect.
Make sure that includes fancy socks with a clear passage of exit because you need to be prepared to have them knocked clean off by the nights entertainment we have planned for you!
For reasons pertaining to an element of surprise the details must remain secret but please be intrigued by these words: chamber welcome; scaramouche; ku ku ka-do; freak-out; DJ sets from Bishop Pencilface and John Stapleton his honour.
6-8pm picnic on the vast and luscious grounds. Croquet may be involved.
8pm doors open.
8:01-11-59pm all-round joy and mayhem
Midnight -turn into a pumpkin and find your way back home
