HITCHHIKER ALBUM & TOUR - UK 2015
2014 has been a big year for award-winning acoustic guitarist Will McNicol and in-demand session drummer Luke Selby. Already respected musicians in their own right, Will was given the honour of being listed as part of Acoustic Guitar Magazine's'Worldwide 30 Best Acoustic Guitarists Under 30' whilst Luke secured an endorsement with world-renowned cymbal manufacturer - Bosphorus Cymbals. Combining forces as a duo saw their first live gigs together, after months working through original material and re-workings of seminal pieces in the repertoire, gaining them stella reviews, describing their playing as'glorious' and'extraordinary'.
Combining their individual successes with their ever-growing fan base as a duo, both Will & Luke entered the studio to record an album which accurately represents their explosive live sets which draw musical influences from all over the world. Everything from foot-stamping blues numbers to upbeat Brazilian dances through to powerful folk-influenced tunes and African rhythms are tackled by the pair. They're both very excited to get out on the road to take their debut album, Hitchhiker around the UK.
