A gig held at Kingsdown Vaults on Monday 19th February. The event starts at 19:30pm.
The KDV House Band are re-visiting Eric Clapton's iconic 1992 MTV Unplugged concert in its entirety. Two special shows on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th February will take place in the intimate surroundings of The Kingsdown Vaults.
Clapton's emotional performance, in the wake of the tragic death of his young son, was a masterclass in how power can be created through restraint, control and minimalism.
The KDV House band, led by The Kingsdown Vaults Landlord Drew Bridges, will endevour to deliver as close a replication as possible and features some of Bristol's finest musicians in Lewis Creaven, Lady Nade, Joe Wilkins, Patrick Farrell and Mike Hoddinott, with Tom Collison heading up from Hastings and representing the rest of the world.
This is the first in the KDV House Band Series which will be recreating some of the all time classic albums for years to come.......watch this space.
