"My name is Cliff Andrade and I am an artist. I grew up on a council estate right in the centre of London. A few years ago I became curious about where I could afford to live if I ever moved back to London. So I started visiting these ‘affordable’ areas and taking photographs of them. That was where this project started."
Join artist Cliff Andrade on Saturday 17th May in KIT FORM gallery, Stokes Croft, to explore the idea of 'home' and answer the question 'Can you tell me where you come from?'
Andrade's exhibition no place like home questions what it means to be from somewhere, migration, belonging, class, memory, identity and home.
We would like to hear from you, about your experiences. We invite you to join us in the gallery to share with us your answer to the question 'can you tell me where you come from?'
The answers collected will be made into a publication, which you will get a copy of.
Cliff will be in KIT FORM all day, and you can come any time between 12:00pm and 6:00pm
