Linocut Workshop PM session | Reconvene
An event held at KIT FORM on Saturday 21st November. The event starts at 15:00.
Join us for a linocut workshop where you'll create your very own edition of 5 A5 prints!
Throughout this workshop you'll be taken through the process of transferring your image onto a lino block, using linocut tools to carve out your image, inking up and printing your edition!
All materials will be provided and the workshop is beginner friendly so no experience necessary! Due to the sharp tools used, this event is 14+.
This workshop is being hosted within the Reconvene exhibition for plenty of inspiration, but please feel free to bring along your own ideas and make them into a beautiful print!
Your instructor Alice Thomas is a multidisciplinary printmaker specialising in lincout, with an MA in Fine Art: Printmaking and is excited to see what wonderful prints you'll create!
Please note: your prints will need to dry overnight before you can take them home.
