A event held at KIT FORM on Thursday 10th July. The event starts at 18:30.

OUR SCENE is a collaborative project in the form of an archive book between @conqueer_events and @bristolpride highlighting important imagery, memorable short-stories and reflections by promoters and collectives who began curating events post-lockdown in Bristol until late 2023.

Designed by Willem Fox, Daniel Camargo-Grosso, George Valentine, and Beau Palmer, the publication includes further unforgettable narratives and visual art, with special mentions to photographers of this era capturing the scene which needed to be documented. OUR SCENE will also feature the promoters and collectives who began curating events pre-lockdown, looking back on what queer nightlife originally was in Bristol.

Over 30 promoters and event series' have their own personal stories to tell and imagery to display. We feel this book is a perfect opportunity to facilitate an archive for those to be recorded and appreciated. This book will act as a time capsule containing photography, event posters, hand-written letters/notes, stories, and illustrations from the collectives and individuals who encouraged self-expression and creativity, especially when the sun went down and venues opened their doors.
