Portrait Painting Workshop; The Basics
An event held at KIT FORM on Wednesday 20th May. The event starts at 13:00.
Join Portrait Artist of the Year 2025 contestant Ellie Kerr-Smiley to learn the building blocks of how to create a compelling portrait in oil paints. Suitable for all skill levels, this workshop will teach you how to put together a base sketch, working on form and composition, and then transforming this with oil paint, looking at how to create and convey skin tones. All materials provided.
This workshop takes place during group exhibition 'LIKE' in the gallery, running 19 - 24th May.
