A event held at KIT FORM on Wednesday 29th April. The event starts at 19:00.
Trans Resistance Action Network (TRAN+) and Bristol Queers For Palestine present this month's Community Night at Kit Form on 29th April from 7pm - 10pm.
Queer Community night is a free, sober space for queer and trans individuals and allies to connect with others, play board games and make radical art together.
There will be free snacks, and arts and crafts supplies available but we encourage people to bring resources and snacks to share.
We will also be running a trauma-informed first aid workshop from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
Trauma-informed first aid is a support approach that recognises the widespread impact of trauma (both physical and emotional) and aims to prevent re-traumatization during care. It is absolutely essential especially in high pressure situations (such as queer events or protests) and encourages trust and empowerment aswell as working to prevent further re traumatisation.
This is the first **workshop of this kind we have ever ran at our queer community nights and we are beyond excited to provide this space for our queer and trans community ⚧ ❤ **
** Face masks are encouraged to support our disabled/immunocompromised comrades. **
Masks will be available at the event.
