Afro Revolution: Rise Sistas Rise is an all-Black-women-led celebration marking International Women’s Day 2026, bringing together powerful conversation, live music, poetry, and DJ energy in one unforgettable evening. The night features headline live performances from Cindy Blackbird and Laura Dia, a powerful panel discussion titled “Claiming Our Power: Black Women, Voice & Self-Determination,” poetry and hosting, and a high-energy DJ set by DJ Morenike. From 10:00pm, the night continues with a Pan-African women DJ takeover, spinning classic records in a sound-system style until 1:00am. Expect soulful sounds, bold voices, and vibrant creativity, alongside space to connect, network, and celebrate Black women’s brilliance. there would be authentic food from the motherland aswell to keep you fuelled through the Evening. Rise Sistas Rise is a space to be inspired, uplifted, and affirmed - where women lead, create, and rise.
