A clubnight on Saturday 4th April. The event starts at 18:00.

Kuumba Centre located in the heart of St. Paul's and well established as the first venue for deep roots reggae sound systems emerging from the 1970s and onwards from in and around St.Pauls. Many Bristol first sound systems; Enterprise, Sir Bastion, Tarzan, Iquator and more stared their musical career here. These sound systems never failed in producing great quality, sweet, sweet deep conscious reggae musical events with pure vibes.
The event Liberation Dub (part2) is a concept which will allow the dance arena to see a range of deep, roots reggae sound systems come together at different times. Some are not so frequent as others, yet their musical abilities is unquestionable. For me taking a pro-active step forward in the scene of promotion as a female is to give greater emphasis and acknowledgement to the female sound system owners, operators, engineers, selectress and singers a concrete platform where their musical abilities and talents can be shared and showcased to a wider audience of people.

Saturday 4th April 2026 promoter Empress will bring a powerful Warrioress Charge event, which is for hot steppers! non stop! foot skanking!! Dub dance featuring two magnificent roots daughters on the reggae Global & Intentional reggae scene.

Empress Black Omolo, cultural roots come from Kenya and she is currently based in the Netherland. She has an amazing powerful vocals as a well establish female singer/Mic chanter across the globe. She a major performing artist who has feature as a main artist on many events across Europe. Her rhythmic displays her natural Afrikan tribal dancing which lightens up the dance hall to a higher spiritual level of self-awareness, unity and joy. She inspired by many singers however, she is highly inspired by her mother, her own life experiences and most importantly, ancestors who have paved the way through the Afrikan His-STORY and Legacy. Empress Black Omolo recently perform at the Bristol Teaching in Dub event and gave a powerful, lively, full of lyrics, smashing performance. On the 4th April 2026 she will take a most honourable position and lift up the consciousness of all especially women as she shown a great Rise In Power, Strength, Energy & Happiness.

Also, first time performing officially for the first time in the UK and in Bristol, emerging from France, female sound system owner, operator and selectress- Sista Nafa (previously known as Sanga Mama) straight outta France She has built up an amazing professional roots reggae music career and have work with several UK reggae engineers and performed at several festivals. Her abilities as a hard reggae Selectress and sound system operator is truly undisputed, she well known across the global reggae music circuit involving many appearance at dub and reggae festivals, i.e. Dub Camp festival also making a smash appearance on Dubquake Records O.B.F, just the 'tip' of the amazing musical journey this Rootical Spiritual Warrioress Sista has carved out for herself. She is saluted at the highest level as she joins a heavily male orientated sound system scene and truly brings a male and female balance within the sound system dancehall scene. She blazing fire!! she a hot steppas with natural heat beat in her movements and she truly allows the natural DNA of her Afrikan heritage and love for Roots Reggae music to shine brightly. Today Sista Nafa is now known as Elimb'a Mboa Sound.
Empress Black Omolo and Sista Nafa are very well known for performing together in various countries and together will lift your spiritual presence to a higher level. It not a dance to think about, it a dance to put the date 4th April 2026, in your diary and support the coming of more female artists at the Kuumba Centre and hopefully other venues.

The event will be powered by the well establish and active Concrete Lion sound system, joint owners Kia DUB FORWARD and Sunil Dubtronics. Again the coming of this sound system bring a powerful sound charge that really echoes and "Afrikan Drum beat". It is a satisfactory pleasure to know this sound system will be available on the night and Sista Nafa will be the operator and selectress which she is sure to "light up" this event in a way Kuumba Centre never seen before with female charge at the controls. All sistas, queens and females, this is truly a dance for you and all Roots Reggae followers, Dub Steppas and Warrior energy lovers. It honourable pleasure to bring forward and together both these female artists to mark the first time in history at the Kuumba Centre.. full BALANCE!! It definately an exceptional event to attend. Big Royal Salute Empress Black Omolo and Sista Nafa.
