A event on Saturday 9th November. The event starts at 12:00.

Commemorating the birthday of Basil Davidson, the radical Bristol born journalist and historian, and marking the International Day Against Fascism, we are coming together for a day of educational activities to unite with our global family. We belive thats it’s through solidarity locally and globally that we can stop fascist violence.

We are inviting people from Bristol to share their experiences and histories, and for these local knowledges to be shared through workshops, food and music as a contribution to the global building of the Decolonial Open Communiversity which this event is part of.

The Decolonial Open Communiversity is a space for all peoples from across the world to work together on decolonisation by sharing their diverse cultures, wisdoms, knowledges, skills, understandings and contexts in order to undo the harms of imperialism and effectively unify our paths to repair humanity and Mother Earth. It is about learning collectively through transforming the world.

We have the honour of welcoming the preparatory commission for the Decolonial Open Communiversity which includes:
- Representatives from the peruvian indigenous and peasant women’s union, the FENMUCARINAP: https://www.fenmucarinap.com/
- Grassroots media collective Radio Zapote from Mexico: https://radiozapote.org/
