A
event
held at L'Étoile Studio
on Saturday 2nd September. The event starts at 15:30.
Still-life drawings are drawings of non-living objects, arranged in a specific way, to create meaning or a visual effect. Common still-life objects include things like flowers, fruits, vegetables, musical instruments, pots and vases, etc.
On this occasion, the participants will be able to create a composition by choosing and arranging a number of items kindly lent by Bristol Vintage Shop.
L'étoile Studio presents a class that can help you build some drawing foundations to be integrated into your art practice. An occasion for relaxing and creating something beautiful socialising with other people.
The session is open to all levels: beginners, amateurs and more experienced people. Please note that this is a not tutored session - however, a tutor will be there at the beginning of the session to give some general instructions on how to start and support you if needed.
Basic materials are provided (paper, pencils, etc.) and some others are available in the studio, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
The cost of participation is £10. Tickets are not refundable unless noticed 48 hours in advance by emailing [email protected].
The duration of the session is 2 hours and a half from 3.30 pm to 5 pm.
The event is organised by l'étoile Studio in collaboration with Bristol Vintage. The facilitator of this session is Marta Isabella Reina, a visual artist and art tutor based in Bristol with a diploma and background in figurative arts specialising in traditional drawing and sculpture.
