The solar orbit is complete and it's time for the annual DS gathering. On sunday the 20th July, we are excited to present a key figure of the Melbourne music scene; Alex Albrecht- with a live set to beautifully compliment a setting sun and a hazy evening. Dreamy downtempo to uplifting house, infused with an optimistic undertone that'll be sure to keep things glistening into the early evening.

Alex's creative output has been flowing for over a decade, whether it be live sets, studio productions or DJ sets. Throughout this period he has established a very distinct sonic palette- a calming, ethereal atmosphere imbued with a deeply emotive, organic beauty. Floating layers of blissful translucence glide like sheets of weightless silk. Waves of delight flow between points of melancholic stillness. Effortlessly merging the boundaries of various genres; from house, techno, downtempo and jazz, wrapped in a beautiful infusion of the unmistakable euphoria and introspective groove of Albrecht's sound. With performances stretching across the globe- from Vent in Tokyo, Bassiani in Georgia, Monument in Norway... and now in Bristol! We are beyond pleased to host Alex to provide a sonic soundscape for you in the beautiful gardens of La Panza. We hope his music inspires and moves you as much as it has us.

Supporting will be an encompassing array of soundwave specialists from the closer proximities of our town, Bristol-- AK-One, Corrupt Data, Plantera & Dream Software will all be contributing to the day and evening airwaves with blissed-out aural expeditions of their own. Full spectrum from mind-soothers, to feet movers. From 2pm til 11pm.
