QUEER HAVEN IS BACK!
A wholesome sober social and a charity fundraiser for LGBTQIA+ community and allies. A night of good music, cabaret performances, Italian food, great mocktails, art traders and meeting new people within Bristol's queer community.
Hosted by MISS VENUS WAILER and CHARLES THE PRINCESS! Expect a magical performance from the Bristol's queen of burlesque - ANTONIA PURDIE! Joined by the dancing diva and the first born of The Haus of Fleek, KITTEN FLEEK and the mother of Queer Haven, club kid and Fagbutt's co-parent - NARCOTIK!
DANI WHYLIE, DJ ANTIHISTAMINES, DJ POTS N PANS and UGLY will take control, spinning a potent mix of house, disco, garage and techno.
All the proceeds from this event will be donated to Bristol Refugee Rights support group for LGBTQ+ people seeking asylum and those with refugee status - PRIDE WITHOUT BORDERS. Bristol Refugee Rights began life in 2006 as a voluntary organisation, and has since grown to become the largest refugee and asylum seeker charity in Bristol.
This charity helps understanding the asylum system, accessing housing and finance, supporting you if your housing is not safe or you are at risk of homelessness. By navigating complex systems, the charity empowers young people to feel more in control of their present lives and futures!
