Join us at the fantastic La RUCA cafe for an exciting evening of revolutionary folk songs and Nicaragua-themed entertainment!!
We're delighted that two visiting Nicaraguan musicians—Franklin Martínez & Luis Jarquín—will be providing live music, including a performance of the famous Carlos Mejia Godoy songs from the Misa Campesina Nicaragüense (the Nicaraguan Peasants' Mass).
Arrive at 6pm for food, available for purchase from La Ruca's fantastic (and very reasonably priced) menu. Bring your own beer / wine (but please make a donation for corkage!) Music from 7pm.
Plus a raffle with the chance of winning a bottle of Nicaragua's prized Flor de Caña rum!
£5 entry. All proceeds will go towards the development projects supported by BLINC, Bristol's twinning with the Nicaraguan town of Puerto Morazán.
