Camo Clave were formed in January 2016 by Joe Longridge. By Listening to DJ’s playing remixes of his favourite Cumbia and Salsa tunes, Joe was inspired to form a band that could potentially replicate these remixes live. Now taking influence from dub, reggae, electronic and many other genres.
Our singer Marta Zubieta from Sevilla, Spain, met the rest of the band at a jam night in Stokes Croft, Bristol and quickly established a similar love for alternative latin music.
The band released their debut EP in November 2018 in Bristol to a sell out audience. With plans to further their writing this year and push their music in new and exciting directions.
The band have played at festivals such as Boomtown, Wilderness and many more, and also take private bookings for weddings and other private events.
