A gig held at LEFTBANK on Saturday 18th May. The event starts at 21:00.

Supafunk4 are dedicated to bringing Funk back to the masses. A live Oxford-based band with a choice of classic funk and soul covers mixed with a range of their own original material. Their fantastic live energy will keep you dancing all night! The Supafunk4 set consists of such classics as: Superstition by Stevie Wonder, Lovely Day by Bill Withers, Play that Funky Music by Wild Cherry, Long Train Runnin' by The Doobie Brothers and Take me to the River by Al Green. https://soundcloud.com/user-415213305/lady-day https://soundcloud.com/user-415213305/lets-dance --------------------------------------------- Joining also are the awesome Live Culture (aka Vim Akimbo) combining electronic productions and live instruments to bring a very unique Bristol sound. https://soundcloud.com/live-culture/vim-akimbo-greased-nicely-remastered https://soundcloud.com/live-culture/all-the-same --------------------------------------------- Gracing the decks are Subsonics favourite dirty disco & funk duo TWOGOOD! "An outrageously uplifting disco explosion" - Clash Magazine “Oozing funk and soul from every pore” - Mixmag The propeller hat pair renowned for their bangers, mashup's and sweet tasting gravy. Tom Mitchell and Jonny Rhodes (aka Bristols celebrity Percy Pig enthusiast!) have been tearing the Funk/Nu Disco scene apart since early 2014 with their new take on the classic genre. With more bongos than Chief Costanzo and bass hooks fat enough to catch a marlin, these boys leave the crowd happier than a slinky on an escalator! https://soundcloud.com/twogoodofficial --------------------------------------------- Warming up the night we have DJ Mook, Danny K and Boundski B2B2B for a mash up of funk, disco, hiphop & breakbeat! As always Leftbank will be getting the full Subsonic UK underwater makeover! Fully decked with sea creatures, aquatic décor, underwater lighting and lasers and very colourful people! Entry is just £5 for the first 50 people then £6. On The Door sales only so get in early!
