Join us for another installment of Joe's Juke Joint with Graham Farnworth travelling in from the capital.
Farnworth is nothing short of a slide guitar master playing delta and peidmont blues as well as finger picking ragtime numbers from artists like Blind Blake, Mississippi Fred Mcdowell and Rober Johnson. Farnworth lives in London where he plays with a host of bands including Mojo Hand and Ask An American and his music has taken him all over Europe and to USA. He also performs with Joe Strouzer under the guise of Uncle Dead and in the Six Piece Chicken Orchestra.
Your nights host, Joe Strouzer, first met Graham Farnworth back in 2011 when he ran Boxcar Joe's Juke Joint in East London. They became firm friends and started playing together in The Goodtime Family. They formed guitar and harmonica duo Uncle Dead in 2014 performing at LA's Made In America Festival. At Joe's Juke Joint expect solo songs from both players and a bunch of Uncle Dead numbers and enjoy some of the music they have been playing together for the last 8 years.
