WILD FOOD at Leigh Court Farm

A event on Saturday 19th July. The event starts at 10:00.

Join Martin Bailey (goforaging.co.uk) and Jon Aron (Matter Whole Foods) for a morning of discovering delicious wild edibles, including pungent wild mustards, summer seeds and juicy, nutritious leaves, often thought of a weeds.

Learn to safely identify each species and where to find them, taste leaves and shoots along the way and create your own wild herb infusions. Learn how wild foods support the microbiome, preservation methods including fermentation and pickling, plus foraging tips and tricks to help you unlock nature’s edible secrets.

Enjoy a delicious seasonal picnic lunch with spring and summer pickles and ferments, a selection of drinks and plenty of ‘wild’ ingredients.

You’ll go away with tasty recipes to get you inspired in the kitchen plus handfuls of your own foraged goodies!
