Join us for an intimate fire-side gathering in the beautiful setting of Leigh Court Organic Farm, with Murmuration Choir, Jenny Sanderson, MC Xander and Matter Whole Foods. 

The choir will share an immersive journey of nature-inspired choral arrangements, enriched with recent forest sound bathing in Leigh Woods this term. There will be invitations to join in with simple fireside songs + soundscape making to commune with the natural world around us. We may even give the vegetables a sound bath :)

We are excited to be welcoming Storyteller, Forest School Teacher + Theatre Maker, Jenny Sanderson, who has been sharing inspiring nature connection exercises  + stories with us alongside our singing this term. Her tales will make you fall in love with the wild - trees dancing in the moonlight, a paradise planted by birds, how the world was birthed by sound and a mythic telling of the very first rave. 

We are also very lucky to be welcoming vocal artist, musician and CVI leader, MC Xander, who will be beatboxing alongside the choir, and sharing Bobby McFerrin-inspired circle song with any budding singers who wishes to join us (or just enjoy and listen, no singing experience necessary). 

Timings:

6.30 pm - Arrival
7 pm - Start
7.50 pm - Interval
9 pm - Finish

BYOB + refreshments + snacks.

We will have a groundsheet and a limited number of seats, so please bring a cushion or camp chair.

This is an outdoor event, the weather is predicted to be warm + sunny, but please bring anything else that will help you to feel comfortable outside e.g. bug spray, sun hat etc.
