A
event
on Sunday 7th April. The event starts at 11:00.
A foraging workshop for queer folks!
You can expect:
- Outrageously wholesome times out in the 'great salad of the world' ~ learn an abundance of nature facts, and get to know a range of spring flora & funga that can be used as food, medicine & craft material.
- A guided walk for gathering, identifying & learning, followed by some time for gentle & reflective journalling or sketching.
- Foraging with playfulness, creativity, kindness & queerness!
This is the first in hopefully a series of new queer & creative foraging workshops, led by Ruby Scott-Geddes (they/them), an artist & creative foraging teacher based in Bristol. We'll be going to a part of Leigh woods I call the wild garlic grove, which is right lovely & luscious, and near to Paradise Bottom (a real place name).
Lettuce know if you have any questions or requirements, & please get in touch if ticket costs are a barrier to you coming! :)
