This exhibition originates from a call for art inviting artists to explore the themes of desire and eroticism as transcendental experiences capable of leading to spiritual awakening or inner transformation. Interpreted in various ways through different media and personal reflections, a common theme emerges: the body and the material aspect of existence. In a sense, this holds great significance when we consider the human being as an embodied individual—someone who is compelled to experience the material world, from which they can eventually transcend and transform.
