Unfine Art Club: Textile Time

Upcycle a piece of clothing, customise something you already own, or create a new piece.

Wearable and shareable! A space to create a wearable piece of art, play with mark making on textiles and an invitation to express parts of you through the processes of making, sharing and maybe even wearing!

Fabric paints, brushes, tools, practice material, stencil making materials, and an experienced facilitator provided. Basic hand sewing, embroidery and patching materials will also be available if you would like to work with them.

Please bring a piece of clothing (or a few!) to be your canvas, bags and accessories can be painted too! Details of suitable materials are in the fabric painting guide attached.

Unfine Art Club is a safe, judgement-free space to express yourself creatively. We welcome folk with any level of creative experience who are open to using creative art materials. Facilitated by a HCPC-Registered Art Therapist, and fellow Unfine Artist, Naomi Young.

Each session will include an invitation to play with different art materials, to follow creative prompts (or not!) and to connect with fellow Unfine Artists.

The aims of Unfine Art Club are to empower creativity, community and connection for anyone who has ever not felt fine. No need to be a fine artist to attend!

There will be gentle opportunities to share what you are creating with others if you feel comfortable doing so.
