Join us for a creative and historical journey in our Clay Workshop focused on the fascinating symbolism of Venus, the ancient Roman goddess of love, beauty, sex, fertility, and prosperity.
Discover the intriguing world of Venus’s myth and significance—an essential figure in Roman culture, representing not only love and beauty but also victory, fertility, and imperial power. In this workshop, you'll learn about Venus’s origins as an Italic deity of gardens and her role as the mother of Aeneas, linking her to themes of prosperity and divine femininity.
Get hands-on as you sculpt your own Venus-inspired figurine in clay, exploring the rich symbolism behind this iconic goddess. Whether you're interested in mythology, history, or simply want to create something meaningful, this workshop offers a blend of learning, creativity, and inspiration.
All materials provided; no prior experience necessary. Whether you have modelled clay before or are new to the craft, creating your Venus figurine is accessible to all levels. Instructions and tips will be provided for beginners, while more experienced participants can experiment with more intricate details.
