A
event
held at L'Étoile Studio
on Saturday 20th April. The event starts at 14:30.
Do you have a special corner in your house where you keep your amulets and spiritual knick-knacks? Perhaps you're a facilitator holding space for women's transformational experiences? Then you know the importance of ritual fire and having it present during spiritual practices.
Altars are often used for specific rituals or ceremonies. They become the stage for sacred acts, symbolizing a connection between the physical and the divine. Having a central focal point helps individuals focus their attention during prayer or meditation. The act of coming together around a central point reinforces a sense of belonging and interconnectedness. Beautifully designed sacred spaces can evoke a sense of awe and reverence, enhancing the overall spiritual experience for individuals.
During this 3-hour workshop at L'Étoile Studio, your host will teach you how to create an intricate ritual candle holder for your sacred space by upcycling a Kilner jar and cotton waste.
Your host is artist and macramé maker Aggy from Knots and Stalks. Aggy will guide you through the relaxing knot-making process as you get hands-on with your materials.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a feeling of satisfaction as you take home your newly made special candleholder!
